How much is a shave in JVC?
A royal shave is AED 50, a beard shave up is AED 50 and a head shave is AED 55. The royal head shave with the full hot towel treatment is AED 75.
What is the difference between a royal shave and a regular one?
The royal version puts hot towels on first to soften the beard, then finishes with a cold towel and balm to close the skin. It takes noticeably longer and it is the more comfortable of the two.
Do you use a fresh blade?
Yes. A new single-use blade for every client, opened in front of you.
Can you shave my head rather than my face?
Yes. A head shave is AED 55, or AED 75 for the royal version with the hot towel treatment.
Do you do body shaving for men?
Chest, back and shoulders, yes, though that is done in the treatment room rather than a barber chair. Ask us for a price on the area you want, or see the waxing page if you would rather have it waxed.
Will it irritate my skin?
Tell the barber if you shave daily or get ingrown hairs and they will change the pressure and the direction of the pass. The cold towel and balm afterwards are there for that.
Do I need to book?
Not usually. A shave takes longer than a cut, so on a Thursday or Friday evening it is worth messaging first.
