Bring a photo if there is a particular cut they want. It saves a lot of negotiating once they are in the chair.

Quietest on weekday afternoons
If your child would rather not wait in a full shop, early afternoon on a weekday is the calmest it gets. Message us and we will tell you how busy we are before you set off.

How much is a kids haircut in JVC?
AED 50 for children under twelve. Over twelve is the regular price of AED 60.
Do I need to book?
No. Walk in whenever suits you. Weekday afternoons are quietest. Thursday and Friday evenings are the busiest, so message first if that is when you are coming.
What age do you cut from?
Any age. Tell the barber if it is a first haircut and they will take it slowly rather than reaching straight for the clippers.
Do you do the butterfly haircut?
Yes. It is asked for a lot at the moment, usually by older kids who have seen it online. Show us a photo and the barber will tell you honestly whether the hair is long enough yet.
Can I sit with my child?
Yes. The salon is on the ground floor with seating in view of the chairs, so you can stay close without standing over the barber.
Can we both get a haircut in one visit?
Yes, and most parents do. Say so at reception and we will put you in chairs next to each other if two are free.
How late are you open?
Until midnight, every day including Friday and Saturday. That tends to matter when the school run swallows the afternoon.
