Privacy policy

Short version: we do not sell your data, we do not take payments on this website, and the only thing this site collects on its own is anonymous traffic statistics.

What this website collects

There is no login, no account and no online payment on this website. You cannot buy anything here, so we never see a card number through this site.

What the site does collect is anonymous usage data through Google Analytics, loaded via Google Tag Manager. That tells us things like how many people opened the prices page, roughly which city a visit came from, and whether people arrive on a phone or a laptop. It is aggregated, and we cannot pick an individual out of it.

Cookies

Google Analytics sets cookies so it can tell a returning visitor from a new one. That is the only category of cookie this site sets on purpose.

The map on our contact page is embedded from Google Maps, and Google may set its own cookies when that map loads. That is Google’s doing rather than ours, and it falls under Google’s privacy policy.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, or install Google’s opt-out add-on. The site works normally either way.

When you contact us

If you message us on WhatsApp, call, or email, we keep that conversation so we know what you asked for last time. WhatsApp messages sit in WhatsApp and are covered by its own terms. Calls are not recorded.

We use what you send us to answer you and to book you in. We do not add you to a marketing list because you messaged us, and we do not pass your number to anyone else.

In the salon

When you book ahead we take a name and a contact number so we can hold the chair and reach you if something changes. That is all we need.

If you pay by card, the card is read by the payment terminal and handled by the bank that provides it. We do not see, write down or store card numbers.

Who else sees your information

Google, as the provider of Analytics, Tag Manager and Maps, processes website usage data on our behalf.

We do not sell personal information and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers. We would only hand information to an authority if the law required it.

How long we keep things

Website analytics are kept for as long as Google’s default retention allows, and are not tied to a name.

Enquiries and booking notes are kept while you are a customer and for a reasonable period afterwards. If you ask us to delete yours, we will.

Asking us to delete or correct your information

Email info@spaziosalon.ae or ask at reception. Tell us the phone number you contacted us on so we can find the right record, and we will confirm once it is done.

Children

We cut children’s hair, but this website is not aimed at children and we do not knowingly collect information from them online. A parent or guardian books on their behalf.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
